Popping up on the blog site "Balloon Juice" is the first bit of considered common sense I've seen after the media frenzy of the last few days: www.balloon-juice.com/2015/01/08/no-cadillacs-at-harvard/ The comments underneath the post are really interesting also. It's too bad that a lot more people are watching Fox News than reading Balloon Juice...

Thanks for posting this. It is refreshingly free of polarized politics and anti-Harvard sentiment expressed in so many of the articles that appeared last week. And yes, the comments accompanying the article are as illuminating as the article itself. By they way, if you have trouble accessing the page try this link: www.balloon-juice.com/2015/01/08/no-cadillacs-at-harvard (without the slash at the end). While there were many low points in the media coverage last week, I think we reached a nadir when Rush Limbaugh (don't ask!) stated on Friday that Harvard faculty as a group signed onto Obamacare and became evangelists for the law. Further, he stated that it was only after the economic effects of the law became so egregious that Harvard was forced to make changes to the health coverage because we could no longer afford to offer the coverage we had. We were absolutely awash with inaccuracies and mischaracterizations last week. Hopefully it has mostly played itself out and we can return to the true issues at hand and continue the discussion about what is really going on here.

Great link. Indeed, the numbers do not add up.
